Another Dead Battery Thread with twist - Have SDS need diag assist

Problem:

So get home to go see some music last night after work 6pm, park in garage. Come out at 720p to go see music, put key in and its so dead it just displays 0mph then clears to nothing... dead dead.

Get some juice to her, jump her off and she is fine...

Drive to show to see music/get some diagnostic time. I park where I can get to jump with hood access if needed.

Check 45 mins later and she cranks fine 12.3v still on battery in the lot

Drive home after she sat for 2-3 more hours cranks fine.

This morning I go out to crank after 10hrs down time in garage, No start but not as dead as yesterday...kinda stumped at the uneven drain.


Questions:

What main menu's would I usually go to in SDS to actuate check this out?

Don't need baby steps yet as I hate wasting others time just tell me what to check and I will hunt and find tonight...

I am wondering if a relay is getting stuck or is this the dying AGW and common symptoms?

Pulling fuse 40 now to see if it makes a diff in the amount of drainage as I have read (drove to work today).

Shouldn't I be able to read if the fuse is live when the car is off ergo seeing 5v or 12v whatever the AGW needs to turn on?


Twist:
Can i just cut the AGW out since I have a droid allie express head unit on the way, JL 300/4+JL 6.5 components leftover to throw at the problem?

What am I losing if I do this?


Replaced Parts in past:
Batt replaced this year, Alt last year

So the AGW is throwing a 135 err "the wake-up line has short to ground"

Any clear directions on the test procedure in the following screen would be helpful, I would love to test the run and find the fault where it is shorting out.

Hey Plutoe I had to find the location of the N30/8 cable connection. For those hunting for a similar test. Connection and run lengths /locations / terminations; they are here for the w211:

Out pulling connection and firing the PC up to see what the conclusion is. I am optimistic that I just need a new cable run ... Sigh but who am I kidding we all know she wants to eat more parts! Lol
