Total cost: $700
This includes the convex mirrors.
Contact steve@mbenznl.com to get it.
The whole installation process takes about an hour. Only the driver side door panel needed to be removed to change the switches.
I'll post more pics later tonight.

It will be $100 less if you don't opt for the convex mirrors.
The switch alone costs $200.
It takes Steve a while to reply to e-mail sometimes though so be patient.
He gets 100's of e-mails a day.

I thought it was worth it. I will be moving to a place with a smaller garage and will need to park two cars in there. Having the folding mirrors will be great. The best part of this modification is that everything is OEM and easy to do once you know what you need to do. The car is already set up for it. You just need to get the motors and the correct wiring harness.
New switch. The button on the right is the one you push to fold the mirrors. It's one-touch operation. The two on the left control your mirrors.
I'll post more information on the installation in the future. I want to get some better pictures that describe the process in better detail.
In the meantime, here's a picture of the bend when it is folded:

So this wasnt standard? Damn im too used to my fathers S430, that I assumed it would be in there... I guess another mod to add to the list. If these are OEM, dealer could do it?

Here are pictures of what you remove.
I've circled the screws that you need to remove and also the metal tab you must push in order to remove the painted cover.

Here is a picture of the panel that must be removed to access the plugs for the new folding mirror motors.
Here is a picture of the plug for the folding mirrors. You just remove the old one and replace it with the one from the folding mirrors.
The switch in the driver side door panel is removed by removing just three nuts. However, you must first peel back the soft foam padding that lines the door panel to get to the switch.
Here are a couple movies of the mirrors folding. Complete with soundtrack music from Jay Z.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
