Command problems/Dealership rating
My car was at the dealership a couple of days. They gave me the newest and greatest navigation CD and applied a software fix they've come out with for my Command system problems. On the way home the Nav system was perfect. Time will tell on the other issues since they are intermittent. I'll post again after a reasonable amount of time has passed. The one problem I still have is that rather than ring, I get a prompt on the screen to hit OK to answer the phone. Next service I'll have them look at that.
I have to say that Tim Gannon at Mercedes Benz of Nanuet, NY, as well as everyone else I came in contact with, were absolutely fantastic. I cannot remember ever being treated with such respect and kept so informed. Oh, and I asked for an oil and filter change outside of the normal service and they did it FOR FREE. I thought maybe I had died and gone to dealership heaven.
