E55k... Eurocharged midlength headers?

I have a 2006 E55 and was looking to buy some headers. for the price, the Eurocharged midlengths seem to be the best bet. does anybody have any feedback on quality or any videos of how they sound? thanks

We don't have a video of how they sound. It idles a bit louder than stock and at wot it has a deep sound. It's not obnoxiously loud.

I'm sure you can find some on youtube though.

they provide very nice gains. In general, I haven't seen headers alone make a huge difference in sound. They tend to make cars sound slightly more "ting-ey" (if that is a word).

to change the sound you will need different mufflers or a complete new exhaust (eisenmamm, etc).

Lots of guys with c63 mufflers (nasty loud) and a few have cls55 mufflers (not as loud).

Endless threads in the topic as well as videos on YouTube.

well i bought them, and now I can't find a shop that will install them. Half of the exhaust shops won't touch a MB, and the other half has a problem with removing the cats...

Strange. Where are you located? You may want to let them know you won't hold them liable (put it in email or writing of some sort) that if the Check Engine Light comes on you won't hold them liable.

the removal of cats is a violation of federal law and if you get caught doing it a couple of times your business will get shut down (there is also a substantial fine each time you are caught). it has nothing to do with the liability of a check engine light coming on. that's why a lot of shops won't touch them.

i figured it wouldnt be much. i bought my car with a resonator delete and god only knows what kind of mufflers. it has a nice rumble to it but im looking for a little more rasp. the main reason i got them was for performance gains. the long tubes didnt seem to be worth an extra $2k

Had them on a year about 3000 miles. No issues here. Good bang for the buck.
