305/25/20 for my E55 ??
I currently have 275/30/20 on my E55 and they fit fine.
I had cheapy tires on them and that was okay, until the guy down the road got got some fast AWD Audi !!
So now I have Pirelli P zero 275/30/20. they are better, but are starting to get a bit low.
from what I can see the is clearance inside and out for a wider tire.
The car is std height and will stay that way.
with the 275/30/20 on it the car is 2 mph faster at 60 mph than what the speedo says. I am okay with that.
I am thinking to try and go a wider tire. now while a 25 is a lower profile, when you go wider ( 305 ) the profile is only 1/4 less than the 275/30. so I think the ride will be okay.
Last car has 255/30/22 and that was rough !
Plus the 305 may grip a little more.
My car is just on 500 hp @ wheels, so needs all the grip it can get !
I tried a search, seems like they do fit at std height. is there anything I have missed ?
My guards appear to be rolled, they do not have square flanged edges, I do not know if that is std or not.
Any suggestions ?
the 305/25/20 seems to be hard to find ( expensive ) yet the 295/25/20 seems to be common, but i like it big if I can !!

Unless the wheel is 10+" wide, you will pinch the sidewall on a 305 which will result in narrower contact patch probably not much bigger than a 275 on the same wheel.

Im on 305/25/20s on 20x10.5' wide wheels with a +42 offset just like Denroll. You will have to roll the fenders for them to fit without issues.

Are you running a really aggressive offset?
If anyone is looking to get their fenders rolled, check your local car scene. I was able to find a guy on a local facebook page and he had the proper equipment, like the roller that bolts to the hub. He even knew how to properly use the heat gun to keep the paint from cracking. Worked like a charm and only cost me $40.
