Going from 84 pulley to 77. Do I need injectors?

No I haven't. I was debating between the pulley or the tb but I've decided to go with the pulley.

I did it exactly that way 77mm pulley first when I had EC mid headers. Then 82 mm throttle body with the larger injectors no looped rail. I had no issues. My car sees regular track duty.

nice! That sort of alleviates my worries a bit! How did you like the 77?

It does make more power. It was good for about 2 mph in the qtr. In combination w/ the 82 mm throttle body and larger injectors it has worked very well for me at the track.


However as others have pointed and my logging at the track proves it does create more heat. As long as you have that part covered you will be fine. One of my first mods was the trunk tank as I also do land speed racing with the car. Without proper cooling in hot weather or a long pull on the sreet there is a chance the car could be slower.
