Need Help guys!! Limp 55
Hey MBworld,
Need some direction. Was at my shop of choice yesterday to bolt up bwk, new bosch pump and split cooling. After complete, went for a ride and car delivered that scalded cat experience as usual for about a block, maybe 2....them High rpms and car would drop to limp instantly. Throwing code P270c.
After retracing everything touched and over 9 hrs, removing all adds, hard reset and driving in between for any change, nothing changed. Drove a few times today. Runs perfect until peddle reaches past 1/2 throttle ...around 2/3-3/4 and it goes limp. Absolutely no kick down happening and no wot of course.
The immediacy of the issue following work makes me want to believe its not a brand new issue but a consequence of something.
Totally lost.

In this case it was burned out fuel pump connectors (and in your situation it would be a random coincidence).
