Have you contacted the parts supplier?

Good Morning Tomas,

Thanks for reaching out to us yesterday. I'm sorry to hear that there were issues getting the SBC unit communicating. I am unaware of a pre-programmed plug and play solution for SBC units however I did throw your VIN in EPC and I'm showing a different part number as the correct unit for your vehicle. That number is 0094312712 (previous number 0054318112). I understand that our customer service department is assisting you with returning the product however if you have any questions you can reach me here or PM me.

If the part number matches the VIN the unit should work. Looking in Xentry I'm showing code "c24db" as:

The temperature of compnonent A7/3n1 (SBC Control Unit) in assembly A7/3 (Traction system hydraulic unit) is greater than 140C

Under possible causes and remedies I show:

Ambient temp too high
Repair or replace faulty part
Brakes have been overloaded

Based on the fault code, I would assume that the way the SBC unit you received perceives temp (resistance values) differs from the way the one installed from the factory does. My recommendation is to try the correct part number which is located here:

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...r-009431271288

Let me know if you end up ordering the replacement unit and I'll have your shipping charge to Sweden waived.

I understand your concern, however that SBC is a match to your VIN.

This is the kind of service I want when I buy parts on the edges of my understanding. Too bad I don't need any.

SBC units will never require online coding however you will need the correct software/ device to install the pump. If that is not available you will want to have an independent shop perform the installation. Typical steps are: Deactivate system, install pump, bleed system, activate pump, reset counters. I hope I did not miss any steps however I believe there is a thread on here that outlines the installation. If I find it today I will link you.

I have the star diagnostic tool and well are aware of the steps you mentioned,my only concern was if the unit needed updated software to work,if thats not the case then i probably will go with the one you suggested, thanks.
