R888 vs nt555r

So to the high HP guys (600+), what are you running for tires? I'm in a debate between the r888 and the nt555r. The nitto in a 285 and the Toyo in a 275. Both 35 series side walls. Trying to get my fat girl to hook in a straight line. The current Conti DW are not cutting it.

Street or strip use?

For the strip trip no substitute for non street use drag radials.

never ran either so can't speak to it but I did a search on "reviews" and found good things on the SVT/GT500 and Hellcat forums on both options.

If u want to hook up nittos all day. The r888 has a harder compound and are more for track/circuit racing with a much stiffer sidewall. The nitto nt555r are softer compound and can be air'd down to 25 psi.they are meant to hook for the strip and still DOT compliant for the streets. So nt555r dad's down for what your looking for. But if $ is no option... clk320 wheels on mickey thompson et streets which is on the pic. These will hook up no problem!
