Suspension Issues....
So I took my car for an oil change this morning and the shop sent me an email stating the "Right Guide Arm Fixed Ball Joint" needed attention along with this picture. I did notice a creaking noise coming from the front of the car when going over small bumps like garage entrance etc. Do I need to replace the whole arm or just the bushing? Thank you all for your help in advance.

I've bought from FCP in the past and will continue to. Check their warranty policy

I'd suggest emailing them to confirm fitment unless you have the electronics part catalog to verify on year / model. They are very helpful.

My CLS55 goes through those about every 20 to 30k. The ball joint gets a little loose. I've been using oem lemforder, and I'm sick of changing them. I'm going to try a different brand in the spring. Maybe febi. Might even try the super cheep ones on ebay, You never know, they might be much better.

It's really easy... the second time.
Will need alignment, and you might as well do them in pairs. I do the upper ball joints too, those are about 5 minutes each. You don't even have to take the wheel off for them.

That's great to know. And you're right, they sell them really cheap on eBay and with years of warranty. I wonder how reliable they'd be though. Thanks again!
