My E55 will be built in May

Hi all-new to this forum. The dealer called me yesterday and said they have a mid-May build date for my E55 and expect delivery around the end of June.

Tectite/charcoal, comfort pkg, light pkg, command/nav, cd changer, tire pressure(might delete)

Congratulations.
If you're like most, you'll be thrilled with your new beast.
Nice color choice and optioning.
First MB?
How did you decide on the E55?

I chose the E55 because I was looking for a fast, comfortable, reasonably good handling car that I can also take my wife and son or 3 of my friends in. I have been following this forum for awhile and I am not interested in racing or tracking the car or worried that the new M5 will be faster. I am more concerned with the everday drivability of the car on the street with occasional need for speed when passing or merging etc. I will probably never come close to exploring the potential of this car but its fun knowing what it is capable of.

Brilliantly well put!

Congrats on the car and nice speech. Very justified.

Congratulations, and nice options. You'll find the car comfortable and yes, the speed is such that you can be out of a tight spot in a flash.

Congratulations! I receive my car on around the same time. I've ordered the same colors and options. I did get the panorama roof though as I though it was something different. I very much agree with what you articulated. This is a sport sedan which is very practical for people with kids with amazing performance tucked underneath the hood. Many people in this forum seem to be taking a negative view of the car in comparison's that aren't realistic.

04 E55 tectite grey/charcol....traded 01 E55
I've had the same color combo u ordered and have been enjoying the 04 E55 since 01/04. The car continues to amaze me. The only problem I've had in 5000 miles is a malfunctioning tire pressure monitor. The car is so smooth and effortless in speed that I feel on a different level when compared to other cars. I also own a 02 M3 which is much harsher...u feel every road imperfection..but also is a great driving machine.

Enjoy the car...you won't be disappointed.

04 E55 tectite/char: keyless go,panoramic roof,comfort pkg,drive dynamic seats,command,parktronic,electronic trunk closure.

02 M3 conv steel grey/black
03 Honda element

Congrats to you. June delivery isn't that within a month or two of the 05's coming out? You might want to wait as a couple of extra months would certainly be worth it for an 05.
