Options to Undo Muffler Delete
I just purchased a 2005 E55 AMG which came with a muffler delete. It's my first MB, and I love the car, but I'm not a fan of the volume and drone due to a variety of reasons (poor hearing and I often make work phone calls from the car). I'm interested in options to undo the delete. Other than picking up some stock mufflers and getting them welded on, are there any other recommendations to get back to stock volume levels? What other MB mufflers fit, or any decent aftermarket options that aren't too loud?
Or anyone who want's a muffler delete want to trade in the NY/NJ/PA area?

I have my midsection with secondary cats shoved in the corner of my garage if you are interested.
Are you missing that portion or the rear resonator portion?
I would personally get up to snuff on all maintenance then worry about the sound you want. You may get bitten and be down hard if you have not gotten things up to snuff... Welcome to the MB club by the way

Thanks for the welcome! I'm just missing the 2 rear mufflers that sit under the trunk, everything else is in place. It looks like the previous owner just welded in a 3" pipe in it's place, and kept the nice shiny tips so it looks stock. I've got a few other minor maintenance items to address like a ball joint and a few interior things, but everything else is in pretty decent shape.
