Car won't start and no electricity or power at all

Car won't start and no electricity or power at all
Hey guys...last night I shut my car off using the shift knob button and instantly all power shut off. I attempted to start my car or do anything and there is no power what so ever.
This has occured a few times in the past, but those times after 30 seconds the entire cars system reset and my clock spun all the way around.
This time no reset of system. No power anywhere, but I just checked today and my OBD2 scan gauge is receiving power as it did not last night. Still no power throughout the vehicle though.
Any thoughts?

nevermind!
the battery terminal I shook it really hard then I heard a spark. it is on tight but the jiggle gave power back. will reseat the terminal when I get home
