Anyone have a lower crank pulley for sale? My ripped off lol

Cool Anyone have a lower crank pulley for sale? My ripped off lol

Didnt know this was even an issue, but apparently many have have the same happen.
The rubber between the pulley and the balancer just let go and spun the pulley right off the harmonic balancer.

Parts.com has them for $405 new, but im toying with the idea of a 168-175mm. Anyone have one for sale? ill consider all.

Yes the stocker uses a rubber type filler to soften the blow of supercharger engagment, over time the rubber breaks down and the Crank Pulley ribbed portion will begin to wobble... replace it when a gap is noticeable between the two or wish you did

Welding to the harmonic balancer barrel will only buy time as I found out..

Everyone go check your crank pulley for wobbling please

That was one of the first things i did when i took the car in (when i got it).
I told them to inspect the crank pulley telling them it looked like it wobbles.

They said "this is normal and within spec".....I'd love to see a spec that says "it can have XX deflection / wobble".

No, mine popped off right when the clutch engaged at about 1/2 throttle.


Does anyone know if this failure is age related thing or just are there just random defective ones? Seems like there is no point buying a used 14yrs old one

either stock or market make sure u get a brand new one. this is one part you don't want to mess with... need a good installer too..


its a pain if the pulley is not true and install poorly .. cost you time n big money if the key gets chewed up

Looks nice, but dang $1300 is a little steep. The ATI / lingenfelter one i had on my CtS-v was only 800 new. essentially the exact same thing

So there's not supposed to be any gap between the SC drive and the accessory drive? Mine has a bit of wobble. I've kept an eye on it and it hasn't moved.. but there is a 1.5mm gap or so between the two.

Some have wobble brand new. Sometimes while welding on the bigger pulley it might move just a bit and will create a very slight wobble
