hey guys

just came across an e55 with a red interior that was clearly originally black. just making sure- this interior was never actually available on any w211 model? so these seats couldn't just be swapped in and must have been done by an upholstery shop?

not sure it suits the car... he also carbon fiber wrapped the wood trim around the HU & shifter but left wood trim on the doors and it looks real strange with the red leather

Man that looks ... man. I mean I would like a splash of color in the interior but that seems a bit much. Weird how the center was wrapped but not the doors. Maybe the interior was damaged at some point and pieced together? Any history on the car?

Yikes. If you are thinking about buying this, finish the carbon fiber and swap out the seats after a big discount. Look closely for other owner "improvements", too. Distronic is a nice and fairly rare option.

It doesnt look half *** of a job, its just a red interior lol i don't see whats all the fuss, BMW makes a very similar interior color. if its all even throughout the interior i would work with it, its unique but then again I'm a show car nut so idk whats normals anymore, but its just looks like a red custom interior. id get the interior parts done in piano black, i think it would look nice
