does anyone have a recommended source to purchase headlight lenses for e55 with bi-xenon with active curve light - i was going to sand them in place but wanted a backup plan if they did not come out good

 

I picked up these ebay units. E63 style, fit fine and nice quality.

So there is no size difference between e55 and e63 lenses? These will fit 55 headlights as well. One size fits all? What was the difficulty of installing these units?

 

Fyi My headlights came out perfect via the sanding and polishing process. You should have no problem if you take your time and follow the procedure.

 

Sand the headlights with water and coarser then 1000 grit. Once you get all the crap off itll look fine when wet but dry out foggy. Port and polish it and it'll look brand new, may be worth stopping by a body shop their polisher will have it done in 5-10 minutes.

 

weird , it says they are not compatible on company site -- do you have upgraded headlights or are the OEM for your model e55 (03-06) ? you mention e63 style so not sure what you mean by that ?

I have my stock 04 headlights, lenses were pooched beyond what work i wanted to do to bring them back to life. This was much easier. The newer lenses had the lines in them, gives it a neat look. see below.
