Before I consider trading in my E for a 370Z nismo or ND club, I'm gonna take it to Sonoma raceway Wednesday night drags. It's not exactly close to where I live(2 hours), but I go there quite often for karting. I wanna see whether it's worth keeping my car to run drags.

It seems most people still dont get that its actually the wheel alignment (and spring rate) that causes these cars to handle like crap.
Coilovers will help but they aint fixing the real problem which is the BS factory wheel alignment settings.
I have got my airmatic e55 to handle pretty well with mods that have been stated on this forum. Its no s2000 or handling demon but its light years ahead of a stock e55.

Austingtir is correct and i learned some good stuff from him. The ball joint mod is fantastic. I just recently upped my front spring rate from 900 to 1000lb and this REALLY took the car to a new level and greatly reduced brake dive as well.

Ive done it, it was alright. But, its got a lot of body roll. It can be done. But, a C63 is a better sedan for canyons. I think with coilovers it should be better.

Body roll is corrected by modifying the sway bars (it also effectively gives you a spring rate increase). The best bit is its free provided you own a drill that can fit.
Search for the handeling thread. Its miss spelt like that when you search it.

That maybe but if you go the full hog and do the other stuff mentioned in the handeling thread you might get a car that actually handles like a beast and will likely give an e60 m5 a run.
Something probably not mentioned for instance is going to a square wheel and tire setup to reduce plow understeer that these tend to do. It might be possible to get a 285 up front with the correct offset wheel. I have 275 front and 285 rear on CLS55 rear wheels all round it works really well.
