Has anyone else used their basic carrier like this?
So I have been looking for a basic carrier for my e63 for a while and the best price on a new one was actually at my local dealership, go figure. Anyway before I bought my car I bought a house and I work on my own cars and my own house with help from my friends when needed. Well it was getting annoying having to wait for my friend's truck to be available to make small lumber runs. So I picked up my basic carrier and got to work. Needless to say the looks I got going down the freeway were awesome.

yes my buddy reminds me everyday that the car that came off the line after my e was probably an E200 for taxi use and I laugh and move on. I also know that typically in europe people have one car to do everything and I needed one to haul some lumber occasionally and my kid's car seat at the same time. He thought it was great. According to my 3 year old my black car transforms into a truck, its amazing!
On a side note, has anyone thrown a piece a plywood up there and a tent?
