I picked up an 04 E55 about 2 weeks ago and have been searching the forum quite a bit. So far I have changed the IC pump to the updated 010 since the old one was dead and replaced the front rotors and brake pads. New front tires were a must and I always put K&N filters on my cars so I got a pair of those. Then changed the oil and gave her a good bath. I love the car so far and plan on modding a little once all the maintenance is up to date and I know the car. Anyway I wanted to say that this forum has been very helpful and makes working on a car like this much easier. Thanks for all the great information.
Nice looking car. I got rid of my K&N's, they were letting ultra fine grit into my supercharger and increasing the rotor clearance. Factory amg filters work well.
