Question about stock IAT's 05 E55
Hello all. Im currently stock and cruzing 80mph on freeway 60deg outside. My IAT is at 158deg. From 80mph to 110mph IAT goes up to 185deg. Is that normal for stock e55 or is my pump not working. Also i cant hear the supercharger whine. Any ideas fellas

Just started logging IATs on my stock W211 w/010 pump and have noticed IATs roughly 20° above ambient even in 90°+ outside temps. It will slowly creep up when sitting and idling in traffic for extended periods. It will quickly start to drop as you move and get some air flowing across the heat exchanger and the RPMs up to kick on the pump. I agree with above poster that your pump is dead.
