I need to change my air conditioning compressor. How do I go about getting this thing out? It seems like removal of the radiator etc... may be needed.

Any tips are appreciated.

I have swapped 2x, Allen bolts on the hose hold down faces are the hardest IMHO
Use reclaimer to evac system if any freon exists
Pull radiator fan
Then removed belts
Then loosened hoses off compressor (Please use a reclaimer, we need our ozone)
Then mounting bolts and it will be free'd up

*If the system is open for more than 12hrs replace the drier, prolly worth just getting a new one anyways

Probably worth replacing the valve block on the inner firewall under the cowl, as well as the bypass valve for rear heat/air

It's been evacuated already, a friend has access to the equipment.

I did get a new drier.

Thanks for the tips. I wasn't sure it would fit out that way and didn't want to figure it out by tearing it all apart.
