Sorry no pat number. But have you contacted the dealer, and asked for price quote for the linkage for the ride height sensor? I know that you can buy adjustable linkages on eBay.
The ones you have on your car are after market adjustable ones.
The OEM ones are plastic.
Buy another set of adjustable one off ebay and swap them out.

Thanks Shardul - I wouldn't have known this ...previous owner told me it was STAR lowered, and I hadn't messed around with lowering my old E
I found the part, it is part #2193230016
my parts catalog threw me off because it is listed as "Headlamp Aim Control" rod but the dealership confirmed it is the right part I am looking for
I went to the dealership this morning already and ordered the part, it should be here tomorrow morning. I guess I will order another OEM part for the right side so that they match.
I just installed an ELM last week also, so I don't need to have aftermarket links. My ELM knows that there is an error stored because all LED lights for are other corners of the car are flashing, but the front left w/ the broken rod is a solid LED ...I wonder if I will have to connect to STAR and clear codes after installing the new part for everything to work right ?
Yes....you'll need to purchase an additional one for the other side. Or your car will be loop sided, as one sensor is saying that this side is at this height and the other says another height. Just in case you didn't know there are three linkages with ride height sensors on your E55; one on the left and right side up front, and one in the rear.

The rear has only one??
Is there a DIY anywhere for it I've been searching for a while
I wanted my car lowered by not that low, that the suspension can't do its job. You can also have your car lowered via Star Diagnostics, that is the route I choose. You essentially tell the computer that the car is riding to high by entering values, and the car lowers itself to that value. But if you really want your car low then links are the way to go. But the issues with links are that, if the car is really low there isn't enough air pressure in the air strut or air spring to absorb that massive pothole thereby causing damage to the strut or spring causing failures, wheel and tire damage.
