Smile cost for w211 e63 exhaust work

Hello everyone...I just got to know here recently. I have 2007 e63 amg, everything in factory condition. So I want my car to get resonator delete, sec cat delete w/ straight pipe. How much you guys expect the cost for it? I looked up some informations here but they were kinds of old threads, so I want to make sure..

Sorry if my english is bad..I'm not from US
I'm really glad to see lots of AMG people here though!

PS. please let me know if there is any other recommendation for the exhaust work that sounds better!

Lots of folks put in an "X" pipe. Also headers are a common upgrade for power and sound. Youtube has lots of sound clips, search there too. Your English is fine, no worries.

I paid $150 to have just a resonator delete done on mine. I had him do straight pipes for it and didn't bother with an X-pipe.

Do you live in California? If so your car won't pass smog if you delete the secondary cats. Even hi-flow cats aren't legal here. There's no issue with doing just a resonator delete though.

Getting mid length headers installed (that I bought from Shardul), an x-pipe, and a midsection because I have no res/cats in Florida, quote was ~$570 for everything.

300 something for the header install (cheap compared to the quotes I've gotten from C2 and other shops in the area- they want $1500...)

and the rest for the guy's exhaust guy who will do the welding and stuff.

Really excited.

I second this. If you do anything more than res delete you will not pass a STAR smog test in CA. You could probably pass a regular smog, (i did) with 2nd CAT delete but definitely not a STAR visual. Then you have to pay to re-install the 2nd cats back.

get two of these and that will delete your seconday cat. I personally dont like to remove the resonator as its basically acts like a x/h pipe and keeps the sound refined but if you want to remove the resonator order this

this way they are just cutting and welding, you keep stainless on your car and the sound will be great. I did primary and secondary cat delete and kept the resonator and the sound was amazing, almost like a long tube header.
