Champion 7975 double-platinum plugs not recommended
As the title says, I do not recommend the Champion 7975 double-platinum spark plugs. I installed them gapped at ~0.040" and 35,000 miles later, the electrodes had eroded to ~0.058" to 0.060". I strongly suspect this was the reason for the failure of cylinder #1 a few weeks ago as the gap on those two plugs was > 0.060". I bought 16 on sale and with rebate for $41; now it doesn't seem worth the money I saved.
Yesterday I installed a set of the Bosch FR6MPP332 spark plugs (in 2 1/4 hours) gapped at ~ 0.034". Cost was $120 for a set of 16.
FWIW, the factory installed plugs made it ~90,000 miles with no issues.
The photo shows a typical gap of the plugs I removed from the car versus the Bosch gap new.

Champion plugs are good for lawnmowers and 4 cylinder Chrysler. Chevy same difference.
Stick with Nipiondenso, Bosch, NGK.
Cheers
RN12YC will not fit the chevy sorry
