Rear diffuser wanted, NOT C/fiber

Hi all,
has anyone ever seen a rear diffuser for the E55 that was made from dark grey plastic?
Mine currently has a carbon fibre one fitted that is looking worse for wear and I'm not a big fan of the CF look.
Thanks.

Some reason why you couldn't paint the one you have?

Hi,

Yeah, it has small spider cracks and a blister or two that would be near impossible to prevent showing through new paint.
I also don't like the design, it's too fast'n'furious for my liking.

Can anyone comment on how well these cheap Chinese ones fit?

THANKS

I have one from Taiwan it is close but not perfect and will require a little work with a heat gun for perfect fitment. It is on a shelf til I can find time to take the bumper off for proper fitment and get it the support it needs for correct installation.

I would steer clear of the chinese knock offs honestly due to the varying tolerances they use for manufacturing of parts such as these.

Gary has solid parts at a solid price, you could just use duplicolor flat black and it would look great I bet... I am considering the same on mine and will probably get the bumper resprayed while it is off.

Hope my experience helps get you one with perfect fit

plastidip spray it...it'll fill in the cracks and look somewhat OEMish since its under the car. or you can use body filler, then primer and spray bumper coating on it to give it that rubberized ABS plastic look and feel.
