License plate lights

I know there has been a million threads on this and I replaced them back when i had my E55 years ago but we in 2017 now lol. I am looking to replace the license plate lights with some LED's but i do not want to buy some lights where i have to remove the trunk finisher and when on they look like a cop helicopter shining their light in the middle of the desert.some of these LED'S are outta control bright and look foolish.if you have pics and can help out thanks a ton.

When i had my e55 i got some through aznoptics, the lights got here and one malfunctioned and i reached back out but i think he wanted me to send those back and then he would send others and bla bla. Good seller, not bashing but I didn't have time for all that so I just put some ultra white or something from advance and forgot about it. These stock lights on my E63 are awful and yellow. Thanks in advance

To set the record straight, I ask for a picture of the faulty bulb to help root cause the source of failure if external to the bulb itself. Like for instance in a case we saw rust spots on a customer unit which led him to notice his weather seal had cracked off. We try to make warranty process as painless as possible.

AZNOPTICS.... I refer all my R8 customers to them too. No issues what so ever.

I bought a set from AZNOPTICS as well - it was throwing a code and the return was hassle free. No fuss, no muss. Now I just relegate myself to staying stock <sniff>.

No worries, just wanted the casual reader who hadn't done business with us before to understand our warranty process. According to my records.... you bought those from me back in January 2012. We've got through multiple iterations in the 5 years since and are now on v5.2a which feature the latest CREE XBD chipset, constant current IC chip, integrated heat sink, and a few other proprietary tech.

I couldn't agree more, don't be scared player. Imagine how you'd feel if you had to exhale every breath through a coffee stirrer!!!

The sound and the power will put a smile on your face every time. I put obx racing headers on my car (arh knock off) and i did have to do a little here and there but over all i got away with them for less than half of the cost of any good long tube. Metal will always be metal

I'd need a smog guy that would smog the car with long tubes and no cats.

I had the 36mm festoons they kept flickering and blowing out.

Just recently bought the remove the finisher type. Great and bright no codes...but now my HID fogs don't both light up.

going back to stock plate bulbs.
