Post Time for E63 brakes...

I'm a new owner of an 08 E63 and it's time for brakes..

I've been looking around at previous posts and it seems a lot of people opt to replace
with RacingBrake or Girodisc replacement rotors.

I was convinced up until today I needed to do this as well.

I recently found out about FCP Euro's lifetime replacement policy... isn't it a better option over time to buy and replace OE rotors/pads from them?
I haven't seen this in any of those posts - is there something I'm missing? By better over time, I mean not sacrificing OE quality but not paying the
incredible price for front rotors.

If you plan on keeping the car long enough that you'll be replacing the rotors multiple times go with FCP and their lifetime warranty. RacingBrake makes some quality rotors as well. You can't go wrong using one of them.

Wow, I knew they had this lifetime warranty but I never assumed it could possibly cover consumables like brake rotors/pads. Just read their website, that is an amazing service, glad I started ordering through them. I guess I know where my next rotors will be coming from.

The same holds true for other consumables if you are going to hold onto the car for awhile. On my E, I'll likely throw front control arms and balljoints at it this weekend and then when they wear out (from too many trips into NYC) I'll replace them for free.

i have racing brake rotors and ferrodo DS2500 pads on my Audi...LOVE THEM...best street/sport brake combo i've ever driven.

for my E63 with the promise that FCP offers, there really is no reason to go anywhere else. that is unless you plan to track your car heavily. factory 2 piece rotors have shown to not fend well to race duty.

FCP changing the game!
