Bogging on full throttle!

Hey guys my e55 amg is heavily modified, I just switched from e85 back to 93 octane on a tune by Iqperformance.
when I go full throttle it will bog pretty bad and the air to fuel will shoot to about 19!
anyone know anything about this?

Sounds like you got a fuel issue not your tune .pumps could be failing or some sort along with low pressure .Car might pop soon if not fixed ..what's your mods ?

no check engine lights the whole car checks out. Didn't pull any codes either.

I want better gas mileage so I can drive the vehicle more! I'm not worried about the minor power loss. Plus the fuel system is not totally up to or for e85

Get a hold of the tuner.

If you went from a tune for E85 and were able to pump enough E85 to maintain good AFRs to a tune for pump gas and can not maintain AFR the tune is the place to look.

Oh okay gotcha. I don't know if torque or the EC software has it, but I'd log injector duty cycle when you hit that lean condition. Fuel pressure at the rails would be good to check also but a bit harder to check under load. Unless you happen to have a transducer in your fuel system hooked to a gauge reading in the cab? Otherwise a mechanical gauge under the hood but you'd prob have to get it on the dyno to check ti under load, and see what your fuel pressure is doing. Or zip tie a go pro in front of it for one pull haha.

What fuel pressure are you running, and do you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator? I'd try to see if fuel pressure is steady, and if injector duty cycle isn't maxed, then make sure to communicate all of that to your tuner and tell him to give you some more fuel. If duty is maxed and fuel pressure is good you're out of fuel! Gotta lower the boost or get bigger injectors, or if you have an adjustable FPR you might be able to increase pressure depending on what it's at, and communicate that to your tuner and get a retune.

Anyways, just spit balling the kind of stuff I'd be looking at.

Okay thank you so much all very good info! The dealer checked the pressure but not under load... my tuner is trying to fix it but my ECU isn't giving me data when I try to read data this come up

That is all that shows, no acual data so now we have that issue so he can't properly read it and tune it.
