Is the oil temp sensor...
Integrated into the oil level sensor?
The fan on my oil cooler is running all the time, and my car kicks itself out of M mode - making my suspect the oil temperature sensor is in need of replacement. I've searched around and the threads seem to indicate that the level sensor also does temp, but am looking for confirmation.

The conductor plate on the 722.6 trans houses the oil sensor... kicking out of M mode would be the oil level sensor though.
I would do the oil sensor with next oil change and see if it resolves. If not prolly time to do a trans service interval and conductor plate at the same time. I have not looked for it with Torque but you should be able to see/monitor oil temp and see if you are getting a faulty reading to motivate you in the right direction... assuming you do not have access or own a STAR/SDS unit

I'm thinking about doing the level sensor just to rule it out. I have an SDS and was planning to scan it this coming weekend when I do my oil+trans+flex discs. I am planning on doing the 13 pin and filter this weekend, but don't mind having to do it again in a few weeks if this doesn't fix my problem.
