Supercharger problem

Supercharger problem
Hi guys I'm new to this forum, I have developed an issue with my 03 E55 AMG, upon idle the black electromagnet will not spin, I am aware that the supercharger doesn't engage unless in drive and at around 2000rpm however the black magnet used to spin regardless and now it doesnt, I have loss of power like the supercharger will not engage at all I have also noticed by tapping the throttle slightly my car jumps forward. I have checked to see if the ic Pump is running, it's running fine and pushing coolant through, IAT's are at 80F I have no CEL I don't know what to do now or what to check for its all very frustrating

Supercharger is toast. Take the belt off to prevent further damage. Turn it by hand, maybe it's just the bearings. Hard to imagine it getting that bad without you noticing ugly noises at idle.
