2007 E63 PIC: Anybody know the location of Oil Cooler Fan Relay on front Sam Module?

2007 E63 PIC: Anybody know the location of Oil Cooler Fan Relay on front Sam Module?


This is the replacement part I bought:
A 002 542 72 19



I believe my relay is burnt out and is keeping the fan on even when the car is turned off. I bought a replacement but the part numbers don't match to anything in there. The parts guy at the dealer mentioned this relay was updated.

If you know which relay it is in the picture I attached above, please let me know! Thank you

Why not pull them one at a time until the fan stops?

'99 and '05 E55 AMG
Should be relay R in the attached snip. This is for an E55 but I would assume (bad guess, I know), that Mercedes engineers would want to keep harness mods to a minimum between the E55 and E63.

I thought of doing this but was not sure if it would eff something else up. It was frustrating looking into my SAM module hearing the relay clicking on and off not knowing which one to replace
