damn, Airmatic quit on me today
well, barely pass 1900 miles on the odo. My airmatic quit on me today. My rear end now sits much higher than the front. Got the beautiful 1 malfunction sign on the dash.
BTW, i am getting very puzzled. I have rarely driven the car. Not sure why all of the sudden the airmatic dies on me.
Heck, My E500 already has 4,000 miles on it. Nothing is wrong with its airmatic. Go figure. I abuse the E500 way more than i do with the E55.

2 month old E500 4400 miles -- 5 month old E55 and it has 6,700 miles...Who is the work horse?
But the AirMatic on both cars works just fine!

i just realized that my E55 is 6 months old. Wow, a whopping 1900 miles. I am driving less than 300 miles per month, less than 100 miles per week. I think i can call it garage queen.
I have my E500 for 2 month and half. (10 weeks). Damn that is 400 miles per week.
Guess that is my work horse. Miles do add up fast. My van is 6 months old, and it's already at 8k miles.
I am driving way too much. But I like to drive E500 more than I do with E55.

Your car knows what's in your heart and has overheard your M5 talk. You are being punished for your lack of love and loyalty!

I left on saturday morning. And the mal-function was gone. So I thought may be i ran over something and causing the airmatic to go crazy.
I was very happy that the mal-function did not return about 40 miles left to B-fest. Guess what, the mal-function returned. So my E55 must hate BMW quiet a bit. I had only decided last minute on friday to go down to b-fest. May be upon learning that decision my E55 decided to demonstrate its displeasure.
So after hanging around at b-fest for about 2 hours. Start up the car and heads up north to fremont. The mal-function is gone. And still has not returned.
BTW, I am not making up story here. But this is really what happened to me.
So I should no longer call my E55 soul less. It's obviously that My E55 has temper of its own.
