Wheel adapter question....

Ok, so I have been searching for wheels for my E55 and just not finding much that I like. I have a set of wheels that were on one of my BMW just sitting in storage. I know the wheels are 5x120 and the E55 is 5x112. Which wheel adapters (makers) would you fellas recommend? Would you recommend wheel adapters? What specifics would I need for the correct fitment?

Someone will surely correct me if I'm mistaken, but there's also offset to consider. That is, how far the outside edge of the rim is from the inside surface of the mounting hub. I believe the offset for my E320 is 40mm; I'm sure the E55 is different given the differences in front/rear tire sizes.

You need to know the offset of the wheels to figure this out. A lot of the time the offset will be marked on the back of the wheels.
