82mm throttle body install with no CEL
For everyone that is planning to go to a 82mm throttle body for your M113k/55 AMG. You will need to replace all the old seals and gaskets from the supercharger with new ones. I didn't the first time and used the old seals and gaskets. I had CEL code p0505 the whole time. I finally got feed up and did it the right way. Remember our cars are over 11-14 years old. They total to just around $60-$100 depending where you get them. Also get a new map and IAT sensor. Silicon used Permatex Ultra Black on all the gaskets and under the adapter plate of the 82mm throttle body.
You'll need the following:
23- 112-142-00-56
29- 113-141-07-80
71-1131411080
74- 271-141-12-80
86- Avoid this part, this gasket comes with 2 metal o-rings that WILL cause a tiny leak. Use gasket maker to seal that area.
122 -(two of these seals)
Surge tank gaskets:
A113-098-01-80
A113-098-00-80
Also get a new wire(harness) for the throttle body as the one that is on the stock tb is super glued on. Here's the part number for that wire:
113-150-0028
Supercharger oil: 000-989-62-01-09-MBZ
Mercedes just Rebrands AcDelco supercharger oil: 000-989-62-01-09-M71

I disagree with using the that black sealant the better one to use is The Right Stuff it seals better and works faster but I would only use it on the supercharger to the intercooler connection that doesnt come from the factory with a gasket. You can buy the gasket for it but most recommend not using it and say it seals better with the sealant .... having tried both ways I say the sealant way is much better. Just make sure that you clean both surfaces very well use a blade to get off any excess sealant that is left over and then clean with a wire brush and lastly prep both surfaces with brake cleaner. The seal for the bypass to the supercharger is a MUST, this seal gets old, hard and brittle after all the heat. Take this time to also clean your intercooler of oil that has contaminated its vanes ... this lowers its efficiency spray some brake cleaner in there and then rinse with water til clear.
As for the other gaskets I dont think I would use the right stuff on those I prefer to use good old copper spray gasket on both sides this provides a very good seal and not as messy and less likely to smear off when mounting the parts together. I have done several of these and never had a leak, and when you need to disassemble there is almost no cleanup compared to sealant on everything
Just another guys differing opinion

And for a 3rd opinion.
I have re-used my bypass gasket multiple times and just applied a light oil smear to to let it slide into place and not grab the o-rings and move them out of position. I use silicon instead of the gaskets at the tb, adapter and intercooler. I also re-use my surge tank gaskets with no silicon. I have no leaks, idle problems, CEL, surges or hiccups.

If the bypass tb seal is flexible and not hard, reuse it.
Also instead of the good ole reliable permatex red, black, however you like your girls. I would recommend
petroleum resistant and 10-20 dollars can't recall

I’ve only used it with the bolt on adapter plate. I put the silicon gasket maker between the snout and the adapter plate. Let it dry and remove any excess carefully.

I’ve had a feeling but here’s what I don’t understand, maybe you could help me understand. If I have a leak why doesn’t it do this on the stock throttle body? I’ve had the P0505 code come and go on the stock throttlebody probably once a month but it never goes lean and never throws the p0106 and never goes lean.
