SLR injectors ... thoughts
Well got a set of SLR 6 port injectors from a forum member for a great price and decided to throw them in the car to see how they work. I have a few upgrades ... 76mm pulley, BWK, big heat exchanger, 82mm TB, ECU custom tune, TCU tune, 010 pump, 06 updated blower, and will be adding MBH headers and midpipe soon as well.
I drove them around awaiting my tuner to do an update to the ECU to scale them, but wanted to see how bad they were ... rich wise ... and so far dont seem too much bigger. The idle is much smoother response is great and no real overly rich smell. I checked a few plugs to see how they look and u can see a lil bit darker than tan but not all that bad. Everything I have read .... blackbenz had a stock black injector and an slr injector flowed at 3 bar and the black stock was 480cc and the SLR was 516cc not a HUGE jump but better than nothing and if thats correct explains why its not overly rich without being rescaled.
So besides having new Orings which mine come to find out were cracked and worn out, they have 100 miles on em versus 132000, and I get to say "I got SLR injectors in my car." LMAO
Would love to know if anyone has any hard facts on these injectors and what they flow compared to stock theres so many conflicting comments

Can you take one of each down to your local fuel injector cleaning service and have them flow tested? They should be able to give you concrete numbers.

Honestly id love too but 2 problems ..... one this is my daily driver an need it running to do that, an cant really run on 7 injectors so thats a prob. Also would need to see if there is even a company close by, there use to be but they closed, an havent needed one since so havent looked.
Also driving for 40 miles in stop and go traffic didnt smell any gas or rotten egg smell at idle or cruising. Hummmm
