Drivers low beam headlight
E63 AMG
Left low beam light was flickering 2 months ago
Replaced the ballast
Light worked fine
2 weeks ago same low beam headlight not burning at all.
This time a message on the dash saying low beam not working. (There was no message a few months ago when the headlight was flickering before I replaced the ballast.)
Switched left and right bulbs. Same issue so not the bulb.
Should the new ballast fail that quickly or is it something else?

Check the wiring for corrosion damage. Shorted out in the headlight assembly and melted wire outside of it. So I needed to replace wiring on mine, the lens needed to be removed to reach the problem too I think. My Indy treated me well I thought, around $150.
