the Comand system keeps shutting down approx every 15 seconds.
2009 C200 Mercedes Benz Comand system shuts down and restarts approx. every 15 secs, what can I do to solve this problem, as it is very difficult to enjoy the radio/cd/dvd. Also, Cannot access the other features due to this problem.

mine did this for 5 months. eventually stopped working.
after i couldn't start my car one day i discovered that the battery terminals although on tight, did not have a clean connection. cleaned both the post and terminal and never had any issues since.
alternatively, you can also update your firmware for your navigation unit as well as head unit.

Thank you, I'll check the battery poles connection but I don't think that is the reason!!

In my c32 amg my command unit used to do that while driving, not every 15seconds but also pretty frequently. It's annoying as hell! I replaced the HK amp with another one and swapped out head units.. Same problem, never could fix it. And words part is, my CLS55 is now got the exact same issue. What I notice is the head unit stays powered but I notice my mobile network signal bars go dead and then reconnects about 3 seconds and sound comes back.. Doesn't matter what source I am listening to, amp (sound) turns off few seconds then sound returns like normal.
