Guys, I was driving in Sport 2, I hit the lifting button because of road conditions (didn't see it was in Sport 2)and the car slammed down in the back! Any ideas? Reset? Air line?
Even if you blew the air line that feeds the rear air springs, that doesn't explain why both sides dropped simultaneously. If the air line blew, both air springs should have maintained their pressure for days.
Could possibly be the rear level sensor is broken or malfunctioning. It's mounted to the rear sway bar on the centerline of the car.
From my recent experience, if one goes out both will be sitting on the ground. My driver side front went out but the whole front of my car was lowered.

Something else is in play. Each air spring has its own "level valve" that opens to allow air in or air out. If one air spring goes bad, it will deflate but the others will not because the level valves are closed. If both sides drop, there is another issue in play. Using Xentry, one can literally raise and lower front individual air springs (as evidenced when calibrating the front suspension); the rear raise and lower simultaneously but one leaking air spring or valve should not affect the other air spring; rather, the car will tilt to one side. Once an air spring is inflated, and the air spring is in optimal condition, you can literally cut the air line and the air spring should stay inflated for several days so long as one does not activate the Airmatic system.
If an air spring is collapsing, there is a leak in the bladder or the level valve is not sealing. I'm happy to share the technical info on this so one can see for oneself. PM me if interested.
yeah...i'd also advise having your car checked by one of those specialized Mercedes diagnostic tools. they actually can check and output the exact fault in almost all cases where generic scanners cannot.
