Upon receiving my car I found the emblem on the intake cover to be broken. It seems the heat has gotten the best of it. Is there a place to find these on-line or should I just use my discount at the dealer? Has anyone else had this problem?

No probs with mine but if you just got your car the dealer should cover it for you free of charge

I bought the car used actually. I did find out more from my parts guy today on the subject. Man, Mercedes is classic! You can buy the AMG emblem seperate on the piece but the actual Mercedes emblem is sold pre-attached to the cover piece which cost $106! Yes, that is just for the small cover on the front of the engine. Oh yeah and the vertical piece on the door (right of window...carbon fiber like finish) cost is $105! I think I only get 10% off which isn't as good as my 20% over cost at BMW

Despite buying the car used, you can still get it covered if you are still in warranty.
Mine was replaced in warranty.

The factory warranty is only to 60K correct?

Have the dealer check the VIN, the previous owner may have bought an extended warranty.
