island dragway no best times for me.
Finally i got to get some runs in and all i came up with is that car has gone backwards. The best it ran at the track was before any tcu tune and gear swap and stock one legged burn outs with diff. all in the 1.6 range. Switching tires now i tried skinnies up front so no more limp mode like i use to have, now i can barely get lower then a 1.8 sixty foot. I rolled into the throttle and for some reason the 1-2 shifts at 4-5000 rpms. but most of my runs 4k it shifts the 1-2 shift. On the street i do not notice this stuff because the first and 2nd is just burning the tires. Compared to other e55 cars i never liked the way mine shifted from day one when i got it. But as of now its a bore to race because its just so dead out of the hole. and im basically running the et of times when it was stock with just drag radials.

I got the same codes on my last track day this year. The consensus is that my tranny is on the way out. It drives fine around town but under full load at the track I smelled the clutches going and then it didn't want to go into gear until it had cooled down.

figured i cleared the code had my street tires on this am and hung on it was all over the place. sounds about right soon and i load it up with the sticky tires at the track burnout etc it slips. first pass was 11.6 with it shifting at 4 grand on the 1-2
