Someone hit an broke the LED cluster in my left hand wing mirror. I ordered a replacement from Alibaba and installed it. It worked fine for the first day, then when I put the key in the ignition on the 2nd day, it threw a "Left hand mirror turn signal" fault on the dash. I engaged the left hand signal and it blinked rapidly 3 time then went back to normal and the warning went away. It now happens randomly I checked the connections etc and all is well. Is this a case of buyer-beware and the cluster is not CANBUS? It was sold as specific for the W211 E63 and was visually identical to the original.
