Meth injection for E55
Maury,
Refer to my other post. Meth injection won't really work on an E55 and isn't really needed.
First off, with big displacement you don't need to run as much boost as we do on Supras, and therefore you don't require as much octane. Meth injection is almost pointless unless you are running enough boost to warrant it. With a supercharged application, you don't have boost control, you have a pulley that dictates boost. Even with Stage 1 on the W211 E55 you are well within the limit of 91 octane cause you are still only running 12psi. If you decide to start doing 16psi+ on your car, then you may want to look into methanol injection.
As far as I know the furthest anyone on this board has gone with the W211 is stage 1 boost.

Cooling e55 was my thought
I f have been reading correctly heat and cool air are the problem? How do we get the charge air temps down?
1) Water Wetter
2) add small additional charge air cooler?
3) Thermal wrap all tubing, under hood, intake bays?
I know Turbo City has a sister company called Thermal Shield that makes thermal tiles for the bottom of space shuttle and also for tubo cars they run, they also have theral blanket type meterial. Where and what would need to be wraped? To proptect from heat.

The E55 runs a lot of boost for a SC application.
