E55 Arrival
My sales manager, James Sullivan (excellent), at Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel just informed me yesterday that the Beast I ordered June of last year has hit the southern California shores and should be at the dealership this weekend! I could'nt be more excited after perusing this discussion forum for months noting everyone's comments about the arrival of theirs.
It's an '04 pewter/charcoal with voice/phone/navi, parktronic and ventilated seats (wife request), Keyless Go, trunk, lighting package. Opted against distronic, panoramic roof and dynamic seats.
The E55 had a build date of April 14, arrival about May 15 and dealership within the next 3-5 days.
I've been very interested in the banter about performance mods such as pulley, ECU, filters and induction tubes and may tackle them later. Probably right now just cosmetic changes. I plan on either Lorinser LM-5 or HRE 545s, spoiler (Renntech or Lorinser), want satellite radio but the extra antenna concerns me.
Will post pics as soon as there is something of interest to show.

I love that guy (James Sullivan). He sold me the 01' E320 from House of Imports in Buena Park back in March of 2001 for a really really good deal. I didnt know that he is now at Laguna Niguel. My GST order will most likely go through him then. He is a wonderful person to deal with.

I ordered my CLK 55 thru him in 2001 when he was with House of Imports. He was very professional, kept me informed, and really seemed to work hard to get me the car early. I was so impressed with him I placed my E55 order while he was still at the House, cancelled the order there and reordered with him after he moved to MB Laguna Niguel. The wait was long because there was already a good sized order list there.

Wow...your market or your dealer is really something to have an 11 month wait. After calling my dealer, I got my clk in March 01 in 2 days and my e in Jan 04 after 2 weeks.
The wait is worth it it. The clk is a great car, but the e is "more better"!
