How Much Power

So I just got my 06 E55. Not really looking for anything specific as far as power levels now since I don't want to buy headers, TB nor the snout 82mm. Maybe down the road I will. How much power would I get if I upgrade my IC Pump, get a better heat exchanger( for reliability and consistency), muffler delete probably no power from this mod just sound, K&N filters, 76mm pulley and EC Tune. So basically and not saying some of this stuff gives you any power but here is the list. Now on these heat exchanger I've seen them were they look a tad thicker then stock maybe like VRP or ones I see on Ebay DTK that are really just tall and seem to utilize more surface area which is best, not sure since I see tons using VRP but I would think the one DTK sells would be more logical due to more surface area but then again I'm not very familiar with these cars. With those mods what do you guys think it would be pushing at the wheels?

EC Tune
76mm Pulley
K&N Filters
Muffler Delete
IC Pump Upgrade
Heat Exchanger

Probably will put you around 500 at the wheels. But different dynos read different things and if you are at altitude you will loose a chunk of power as well. No experience with those heat exchangers, but I believe the VRP Hx is basically the exact same as a cobalt SS ZZP heat exchanger just slightly different brackets and more $$. Info about that in this thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...ml#post7398338

I don't doubt you, but that's what Eurocharged claims. (Crank, not Dyno)

So basically a 76mm pulley and tune? Maybe 450whp. The rest are supporting mods. Just remember you have to actually install the heat exchanger. The larger ones require drilling cutting and squishing. The PLM is the most user friendly. I was not keen to drill into the crash bar.

Well, mine has split cooling, 010 pump, secondary heat exchanger, kleemann long tubes, no cats or res, dyno tune with pulley and belt kit, and only puts 418hp at the rear wheels. mustang dyno. calculates to about 520hp at the crank

Proper AMG factory filters breath well. K&N's let in super fine grit. I discovered this when I took my supercharger apart for new bearings.

Ive noticed a lot of people achieving 500+whp usually have headers and even the 82mmTB with the snout. I'm more realistic with the numbers I'm looking for I think 440-450 shouldn't be too hard to get to. Maybe a 76mm and Tune will get me close. I think regardless that's more then what I have now and what I have now is fairly quick I just think sometimes something restricts power to be put to the wheels but it does it so smoothly that restriction I cant tell what it is just the car feels slower and I know the supercharger works fine there isn't heat soak but feels somewhat slowed at lower speeds.

With BWK, 77mm, and kleemann headers on Eurocharged ECU tune I put down 440 on a dyno dynamics. This was all with stock cooling. I now have bigger HE/split cooling plus cut my secondary cats out for an x-pipe but have yet to dyno it..

I've pretty much put headers on every sports car I've owned. Not sure how hard it is for the install on this car or cost of labor. I would be happy with 440-450 rwhp. I would for sure do tires first and cooling second and then look into pulley and tune. I'm just not sure if I should swap my E550 rims with my E55's. I have 18x8.5 on all 4 corners Miro Type111's, black. I'm sure I can put 265 width tread out back and would be going to federal 595rsr-r's. Ive had good experience with those tires. So I just have to decided wether I need new rims or just do a swap with my e550.

I have done a lot of looking into pulley and tune only with the 76mm pulley you will avg 460-480 ON A dynojet. A dyno tune will is the way to go. The 84 averages 444 or so wi th a box tune. This is rwhp. I'm waiting on my 76mm to arrive.i have had my 84mm for 4 years. Plm and vrp are the way to go on heatexchangers.
