Buy it from your local dealership. They are in stock from MBUSA. I just recently replaced one due to the wire insulation cracking underneath the supercharger- causing a short circuit to burn out the ECU. This will be a new problem E55 owners will start having as our cars are aging.

I think the harness was around $600. You will also need new gaskets for the supercharger (since it has to come off), surge tanks, etc. Figure around 8 hours of labor to replace.

 

I have one used in great condition, can ship it to USA if you are OK.
