Low power

Looking for some help guys.
Ran a half mile event again ...it's really 1,700 feet, and car was very off and should have done much better. Last year I did 141 mph with a 9.75 time. Should have been 150mph for the time.
Found out that timeng on my Kleeman tune was being pulled all the way to 3 to 5 degrees on the top end. IAT was 115*

So this year I had 2.82 gears instead of 2.65, less boost with a larger pulley I installed to reduce heat and a tune that was "commanding" 24 degrees timing..... and I saw around 15-16 degrees at the track , IAT 90-95*
Ran a 141mph...same as last year even with much more timing !!!
Loaded in another tune with 2* more timing { 25 commanded }and saw the same, around 16* timing with IAT at 95* and it ran 143 mph. Time was 9.45 which is much quicker than last year. Car is coming out very hard but not carrying the horsepower up top. I should be around 152-155 mph going by other cars with same times.

So problem one is at the 2,000 ft elv. I have much less boost to begin with... I only saw 12 lbs of boost at the event all day, normally it's around 14.5lb's at sea level, but that is an easy pulley fix to get me back to where I was before.
I don't know what 2.0 - 2.5 lbs would have done for me power wise...maby 40hp ?? More timing should have over rode that loss.
Problem two is lack of timing. Why????
I ran 108 octane
11.2 AFR
IAT around 90-95 degrees at the end of run.
Shfted at 6,500rpm
Ambient was 48*
Tank was filled with ice
Elevation 2,200 feet

Could this all be just a boost problem and I screwed myself by reducing boost to begin with and than screwed again by the elevation?
Is the ECU not liking the 90* IAT and 45* ambient temps and pulling to much timing? I may try unplugging the IAT sensor and run one up front with the air filter to see what timing does. I have a IAT fail safe set at 120* so no worry's with over temp problems.
Also no knock detected on log. Don't understand why I will not hold timing up top as it WILL see 20-21 but than just drops.

Thanks

This is purley speculation from my own observations over winter: During the summer I get traction light pretty much any time I mash it going <60. During the winter I noticed that I would NOT get traction control kicking in some situations that I certainly should have.... More traction when the roads are colder and I should have more power?!?! Wtf. I am wondering if perhaps the cars ECU does any de-tuning in too cold of ambient temps maybe? It is back to the spring time and the car again has unlimited power and can bring in the traction control light at will.

Just a thought, it could be all in my head really but I'm almost certain I noticed something like that over winter, and ambient temps in the 40s is pretty chilly. I have an 05 also.

Sorry forgot to add perhaps knock is reducing timing. Um spark or injector struggling to keep up at higher rpm? My cars timing is quite erratic i always assumed it was the canned tune..what does ur tuner say?

since you run the ice and the race gas, just get the knock sensors in tune zero out for race only.

Is't the ECU supposed to start pulling timing at 95*? Saw a chart on that come up a couple of times here. Just guessing here, but are you able to log IAT in real time? Sounds like you are logging a lot of things at once.

I don't have logs as it is just an Aeroforce scan gauge and I only record IAT and Timing. The run is just stored in the gauge until I erase it and record back over with the next run.
The fuel pressure and AFR is a real time gauge so no logging with that.
Starving you are correct on the 95* and it is around 3 degrees if I remember correctly....not much.
I am going to move the IAT sensor to the front with the air filter just to see what the timing will read to rule out temperature issues.

I wonder if you really see peak timing through the OBDII because the port is so slow to sample. Especially using the record feature of the Aeroforce.

I doubt it's a temp issue. My 1/4 mile pulls logged go up to about 23* of timing at around the same IAT. If you are seeing 95* on the scan gauge that is what the ECU is seeing. Also, I don't think a slow OBDII is the problem. The scan gauge is hardwired straight to the OBDII and only reads 2 parameters at a time. I log all my 1/4 mile passes using a Chinese Bluetooth adapter and toque logging 5 parameters and always see more than 16* which should be way slower than the scan gauge.

Does the knock retard indication on the scan gauge work for Mercedes?
