T-Bone Install Question
My E is ending its second day at the dealer getting the T-Bone install for Sirius. They say they do not have enough wire to mount the antenna under the deck and don't want to split the wiring harness. So they are going out to look for an extension. I haven't seen any posts with anyone else having this problem.
Has anyone had issues with the antenna wire being too short? Does anyone know if the dealer 'split' the wiring harness? Any input would be appreciated.

Still waiting on my car. It has been there since Thursday morning. They seem to be trying hard. And since the install is not the approved one I can't be too mad at them. But the c230 loaner in bright blue is getting old. Hopefully they will have my E ready today.

Ok, got my car back with the T-Bone installation and I am pleased. The reception is fine. Like my previous experience with XM, you can lose connection if you are under an overpass for a few seconds. Sirius(installed the TBone way) may tend very slightly more susceptible to this than my XM was. But it would be a very small difference and this is based on a very limited test.
Overall, the Sirius with the command screen is way slick. Glad I waited for OEM and that I didn't install the antenna on the trunk.
