Only my second thread in a matter of days and looking like it's certainly not going to be the last.
Anyway my rear air springs failed on my E55 and I managed to pick up a replacement pair for not bank breaking money.
My question is the part that I have bought includes what looks like a metal resevoiur attached to the air spring, do I need to replace this part with it or can I just detach it and install the air springs by itself.
The reason I ask is because I will be fitting this myself and it looks more complicated to replace the whole piece and less complex the replace just the spring.
