Needs wing intake
Has anyone datalogged these intakes in regard to change in IAT. Or has anyone done a before and after dyno sheet with stock to their intake. I’m very curious, I’ve heard great things about this intake, and that they have the best intake hands down for E55.

I think he is talking about the intake not manifold. But there is a large intake comparison thread also. I don't think any intake makes much of a improvement over stock but you can definitely make it worse. I wouldn't bother unless you have every other bolt on possible.

Yep that is a decent mods list. I can't say for the E55 but the needswings was always a great buy for the 32 and n/a 55 cars. I doubt it would help with IAT's at all though. As long as any filter system is ducted from the front it is on the right track.

My iat’s in heavy traffic in the Bronx in 91 degree weather was 131 the highest. And cruising was In the 120’s so in 90 degree weather I’m easily on my second stage of pulled timing even cruising. I would like to be under 113 in 90 degrees cruising, I think 80fixed might help but most likely I’ll need a 83mm
QUOTE=SICAMG;7461515]Alempepic What is your boost and how high on the IAT's[/QUOTE]
the target boost is probably 14 with a clutched setup based on a old graph but on my logger I’ve seen very close to 15, fixed pulley makes slightly more boost. But it varies it’s inconsistent. My IG is @alen_germoney but I don’t post anything here Bc what I do on my page is unacceptable for this forum lol. But there’s vids of me doing pulls. I have minimal cooling made Bc in New York we have brutal winters and the fall and spring are very cold. I’m thinking now to go to a 80fixed or 83 just to get by the summer

I have been down that road of dropping boost to control heat. Did not do much for lower heat and had a very noticeable impact on power.
I am in CT so are weather is good for boost most of the year but general rule of thumb for me is , I never beat on it when temps are high and I always run 100 octane to be safe too.
