E55 performance issue, dyno question.

dear all,

my e55 2004 w211 is slower than it should be. As tested 0-200km/h in 19sec, which is almost 5 second slower than what it should be.
First of all my torque converter is not the oem one, it is a normal one for an 8cylinder engine. Its part number shows it fit mercedes ML. What i have noticed while testing my car that it does not revs fast reaching the 7000rpm compared to youtube video. A technicien told me that the torque converter can be the faulty one if it is too big or not the adequate one. So what do you think.
my second question is to know if the dyno results are affected by the type of transmission, torque converter or other part in the vehicule other than the engine.

it is very hard for me to find an amg torque converter by itself. All are sold with the transmission. I also cannot order any type of aftermarket part from the internet( country issue). So if I want to replaced it by something not AMG what is my best option? E500?

Regards
